Western North Carolina Flood Relief

Hi all,

Where to begin… the aftermath of Hurricane Helene has been a lot to handle. The entire AMpT team is safe, and our shop suffered minimal damage. But many of our friends and loved ones have lost everything. Most do not have clean water, power/fuel, or internet access and may not for weeks or even months. We are expecting it will be several months before things feel even remotely close to normal. While Asheville has been featured heavily on the news, some of our favorite mountain towns, like Marshall and Hot Springs, have been virtually wiped off the map. We are still coming to terms with the extent of the devastation.

With the help of our fellow Hypertriangle Inc partners at Electronic Audio Experiments, we are organizing a massive gear raffle to raise funds for two charities who are doing great work on the ground: Grassroots Aid Partnership (GAP for short) and BeLoved Asheville.

Please note: this post is being updated with new info as more vendors are added. We wanted to get this fundraiser up as quickly as possible which means the finer details are still coming together. We will be sure to provide updates via social media as well.

How to Enter:

  1. Make a donation to GAP (https://www.grassrootsaidpartnership.org/donate) or BeLoved Asheville (https://belovedasheville.com/get-involved)

  2. Email htmfg.donations@gmail.com with a proof of donation OR write a short note on how you are helping support relief efforts in communities affected by Hurricane Helene.

Anyone in the world can participate. We will log all entries, randomly select a winner, and reach out to the winner directly via email after the giveaway ends on Friday, October 11 at 12PM ET.

The more the merrier – if you can share this, that will help immensely.

TERMS: No purchase necessary for entry. Duplicate entries will only be counted once. If you get a message from some account other than this one about the giveaway, it is spam. About the Nonprofits:

Grassroots Aid Partnership responds to times of need with field kitchens that can serve thousands of meals per day, pop-up food/aid pantries, and experience in disaster relief logistics. GAP aims to be nimble enough to reinvent itself to be whatever the community needs in each crisis. When GAP deploys to a community, its only agenda is serving that community’s needs and being a compassionate, uplifting force.




BeLoved Asheville brings people together from all walks of life in Western North Carolina to strengthen the fabric of community. Right now they are heavily involved in distributing resources within the community, focusing on critical supplies such as water, baby formula, and food.
